Quick Start

Tiple can help you develop with TRIRIGA faster than ever before.

Browser Extension

Get started by installing the browser extension.

Install the appropriate version for your browser:

Install Server

A server is needed to enable most of the features of Tiple.

  1. Download the latest Server zip file.
  2. Extract the zip file and locate the file tiple-server-0.9.1-ompkg.zip
  3. Login to TRIRIGA as an Admin User
  4. Navigate to Tools → Object Migration
  5. Click on New Import Package
  6. Choose tiple-server-0.9.1-ompkg.zip and click OK.
  7. Validate and Import the Object Migration package.

If you cannot import the package into TRIRIGA, you can also run a standalone server. See the Standalone Server guide for details.

Using Tiple

Tiple can be activated on a TRIRIGA page by right clicking on the page and clicking on Tiple Inspector.

You can use tiple on:

  • Records
  • Portals
  • Reports

Hover the mouse over the object you want to inspect. The tooltip will be hidden when you move the mouse away.

Names of linked objects are clickable and will open the designer for the object.

Examples

  • Details about form/record, such as module, business object, form, publish name, record metadata and storage information. Also gives quick access to form builder, record data JSON dump and workflow instances (if tab is hidden).

  • Details about form sections. Also generates SQL to retrieve data from the database, even for smart sections (this is in beta):

  • Details about record fields, such as name, type, formulas and quick access to related objects:
    Also shows the database column name, if it’s not the same as the field name.

  • Quick access to workflow template from Workflow Instance tab.

  • Details about form actions, such as field value changes, workflows that will fire synchronously or asynchronously.

  • Information about reports (also works in portal master detail views):

  • Portal section information including details about query/nav collection etc. and ability to run or export query SQL:

Independent Features

These features do not require a server and can work in any TRIRIGA environment. No activation is required to enable these features.

  • Adds additional buttons to workflow builder properties. Allows quick access to instances, revisions, text format and usage without leaving the designer.

  • Quick access shortcuts to admin console and builder tools by right clicking on the Tiple icon:
