0.8.0 Release

New features in the 0.8.0 release

0.8.0 release

We’ve introduced some new features in the 0.8.0 release. Here’s a quick overview of these changes.

Support new WebComponent based queries in 3.6.1 and above

The WebComponent based reports introduced in 3.6.1 has changed the structure of the report pages. Tiple now supports this new page structure.

Details about the query itself is placed on the query header:

“Toggle UX Development Mode” context menu item

Perceptive (UX) applications in TRIRIGA have a development mode where developers can toggle between the vulcanized view or an in-development view that loads all components individually.

Toggling this option requires the UX developer console to be turned on by the TRIRIGA administrator (and in recent versions the console appears to be broken altogether.)

Using Tiple, you can quickly toggle the developer mode whether the console is enabled or not using the new “Toggle UX Dev Mode” context menu option on the Tiple toolbar icon.

You can see which mode is currently active by looking at the notification on the TRIRIGA page or in the browser developer console.

“Tiple Inspector” context menu will now toggle tooltips

In some cases the Tiple tooltips may interfere with using TRIRIGA pages, such as selecting items from a dropdown list. While this could be fixed by reloading the page, it could cause any unsaved data to be lost.

Now Tiple will keep track of whether it was executed and will alternate between adding tooltips and removing tooltips.

The 0.8.0 version is available now for Firefox users and will be available in about a week for Chrome users.
